Contributes to the alignment and ongoing management/maintenance of the non-financial risk strategy and process for managing risks with continuous improvement of the Operational Risk framework. Contribute to efforts to implement complex projects focused on the expansion of the Operational Risk framework and develop inputs for policies, standards and procedures that establish and maintain processes to align non-financial risks. Assists senior organizational leadership with the evaluation of existing processes and uses growing industry experience to appropriately address control gaps and assess, monitor and report on non-financial risks across the organization.
Monitors the organization's compliance with the non-financial risk management framework by identifying and contributing to strategies to mitigate risks, identifying emerging issues, contributing to the development of processes and controls to manage risks.
Supports cross-functional efforts to promote a strong risk culture throughout the organization. Recommends modifications to reduce implementation risk and uses strong influence with first line management to ensure compliance in risk and control documentation and notification of all appropriate representatives and regulators. Uses established working relationships with the Risk Management, Compliance and Audit teams and members of the business line team to ensure timely completion of non-financial risk-related deliverables, issue tracking and resolution, and implementation of improvements. Responsible for appropriately escalating non-financial risk issues to the Risk and Compliance management team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred.
