You Will Be Responsible For:

* Identifies and assesses current and future training needs through job and process analyses and consultation with Physician Enterprise leaders as well as medical group leaders.
* Conducts physician practice needs assessment and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
* Oversees implementation of training and education programs within the Physician Enterprise organization.
* Monitors and evaluates the training and education programs effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically to develop and recommend ongoing improvements.
* Maintains a keen understanding of adult learning, training and education trends, developments and best practices
* Uses accepted education principles and tracks new training methods and techniques
* Deploys a wide variety of training methods, reimagining creative and innovative tools, techniques, and approaches to achieve excellent comprehension, proficiency, and performance results from clinical providers and other end users.
* Assesses training program and instructional effectiveness and summarizes evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs.
* Partners with internal stakeholders and liaises with subject matter experts regarding instructional design.
* Serves as liaison between the medical groups and Physician Enterprise and Adventist Information Technology (AIT) teams.
* Identifies significant process issues, shares findings with Physician Enterprise and AIT teams to improve future training materials, education methods, and monitoring tools and metrics.
* Collaboratively defines and communicates best practice work flows and system use by clinical and non-clinical physician practice users.
* Facilitates assessment of work flow processes before, during, and after system implementation.
* Manages delivery of classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, recorded webinars, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Supports the training efforts related to athenahealth, other software applications, and continuing education training across the Physician Enterprise.
* Designs and implements process audits to evaluate system adoption and work flow standards and efficiencies and reports findings and recommendations to medical group, Physician Enterprise, and AIT teams.
* Identifies opportunities to improve measurement of and compliance with outcome metrics to focus on provider wellbeing, staff satisfaction, consumer engagement and satisfaction, and financial performance.
* Identifies barriers and opportunities to success and communicates effectively to all levels of the organization.
* Prepares for and facilitates regular meetings with medical group leadership and executives to discuss current and future information system changes, training and education effectiveness, work flow optimization, and to solicit concerns or barriers.
* Plans and facilitates activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that training delivery operations are managed within authorized budgets.
* Builds a regional training analyst team that is based on trust, collaboration, continuous process improvement, information sharing, group and individual accountability, and healthy competition.
* Recruits, orients, and trains qualified training analyst resources for medical groups within the assigned region in collaboration with medical group leadership. If analyst resources are already in place, evaluates current skills and performance to develop education and development plans to achieve consistency in terms of quality and effectiveness of training analysts in the field.
* Manages training analyst resources in collaboration with medical group leadership to include developing and monitoring annual development plans, regularly evaluating performance, and holding resources accountable to a minimum level of performance excellence.
* Maintains stable performance under pressure or opposition (i.e., experiencing time pressure, conflict, or job ambiguity).

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

* Bachelor Degree required from an accredited institution with strong record of academic achievement, preferably in adult education and/or professional discipline (nursing, pharmacy, information technology)
* 5+ years training experience in a healthcare environment
* 3+ years physician practice operations experience
* 3+ years people management and team development experience

Job Summary:

The Physician Enterprise Training Delivery Manager will devise the clinical, revenue cycle, and practice operations training strategies for the Physician Enterprise and oversee the implementation of these strategies as well as assess their outcome. The Manager will identify training and development needs and drive suitable training initiatives that result in standard, efficient, and sustained adoption of technologies used within the Physician Enterprise practices and medical groups. The Manager will lead, coordinate, and oversee a team of training analysts whose goal is to enhance employees skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work. The Manager will coordinate closely with the Training Development Manager as well as the Practice Performance Manager to ensure that training content is developed and constantly refined to improve outcomes, and to ensure that the training that is delivered supports the process improvement and optimization targets identified by the Practice Performance Consultants and Managers. The training analysts for which the Manager is responsible will have a dual reporting relationship to medical group leadership, and as such the Manager will need to build and maintain effective collaboration relationships with these leaders in the field and jointly coordinate the work assignments and performance evaluation of the training analysts. The Manager will collaborate with the clinical, financial, operations, and access teams to ensure proposed training strategies and education programs support best practice work flows.

The Physician Enterprise Training Delivery Manager is responsible for organization, control, leadership, and supervision of the training analysts that work from the medical groups within a specific region of Adventist Health System. Up to 60% travel is required to coordinate, oversee, and support the activities of these training analysts.
