The Impact Youll Make in this Role
The person hired for the position of Warehouse Supervisor will lead on shift activities for crew in assigned department, expected to drive results in EHS, Quality, and Productivity which align with warehouse goals.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

* Leads 50 100 production hourly employees on the 3rd Shift.
* Implements process improvements in the area of Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL.
* Determines staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the shift
* Supports Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leads the shift in Lean Management System Tier meetings

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
* Three (3) combined years in Distribution, Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

* Masters degree in Business or Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
* Five (5) years in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
* Ability to change and implement improvement plans in a Distribution Center environment
* Experience with 3M Systems (WMS, JDA, Workday, SAP, etc.)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
