Job Summary:

As the Senior Pricing Analyst, you would join the Disney Signature Experiences - Pricing and Revenue Management team supporting National Geographic Expeditions. From Around the World Journeys on Private Jet to Expedition Cruises to Antarctica and much more, National Geographic Expeditions offers an incredible portfolio of once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences.
Responsibilities:

The Sr. Pricing Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager, Disney Signature Experience Revenue Growth Initiatives and will have a wide array of responsibilities supporting the Pricing and Revenue Management function. On any given day you might:

* Develop pricing recommendations to maximize profitability for a wide variety of trips, ranging from group land trips to expedition cruises
* Utilize Excel and other data sources to create and share insightful reporting to inform partners and leadership on business performance
* Create and maintain complex financial models used to analyze critical new business decisions
* Leverage performance reporting and partner insights to optimize trip inventory
* Lead meetings with partners to determine inventory decisions, share performance insights, or move major product launches towards execution
* Partner with other teams such as Marketing, Finance, Trip Operations, Trip Development and others to foster collaborative solutions and decisions
* Research industry trends and competitive price/product benchmarking
* Forecast passenger demand and projected rate to inform the revenue planning function
* Provide analytical support for Marketing initiatives and help to develop promotional offers and tactics

Basic Qualifications:

To do this effectively, you will need to be:

* Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, with experience turning raw data into consumable and actionable insights
* Highly proficient in PowerPoint and a proven storyteller with demonstrated experience translating complex analytical concepts into meaningful recommendations to partners and leadership
* Able to build strong relationships with partners through exceptional communication skills, including the ability to ask questions to gain understanding and influence situations to achieve optimal solutions
* Self-directed and proactive, constantly anticipating business needs and engaging key stakeholders
* Flexible and willing to quickly learn skills and processes, while actively designing new ways to advance the business

Youll be even better equipped if you have:
* Previous experience in fields such as Pricing, Revenue Management, Forecasting & Planning, or Finance
* Previous experience within the guided tour industry
* Demonstrated data analytics skills with proficiency in associated database applications (e.g., SAS, Teradata, SQL and Tableau) and the ability to write complex queries

Required Education

* Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other quantitative field or equivalent

Preferred Education

* MBA or Masters degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
