Dover Behavioral Health is a mental health facility located in Dover, DE. Our treatment center provides mental health and addiction treatment services to individuals from Delaware, Maryland, and most other states throughout the US. Our experienced, caring professionals are the heart of what we do, providing superior inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services for adolescents and adults. We provide consistent attention to our patients and are responsive to their individual needs. Dover Behavioral Health System is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a safe and functional environment for patients, employees and guests. The position's schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating paid on-call hours.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Repair and maintain the HVAC system and equipment for the hospital
* Deliver general repair, painting, and maintenance of the hospital
* Maintain inventory of all supplies throughout the facility
* Deliver high-quality customer service to the patients, staff, and guests by identifying their needs and providing timely maintenance
* Track maintenance requests in worker order training system (Facility Dude)
* Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair
* Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
* Respond timely to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures

Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* General maintenance and repair required (performing duties in a hospital setting is a plus)
* Sheet rock finishing and painting experience required
* Industry certifications are a plus
* Ability to work rotating on-call hours and holidays in a 24/7 hospital enviornment
* Strong organization and mulitasking skills are required
