Kingwood Pines Hospital:

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Qualifications

POSITION PURPOSE:

To perform admission and continued-stay reviews; position also performs discharge planning to patients.

EDUCATION:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in a health care related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health systems and Utilization Management required.

LICENSURE:

LPC, LMSW, LVN or RN preferred.

CERTIFICATIOIN:

Current CPR and certification in managing aggressive behavior.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of UR experience in a hospital or healthcare insurance setting required; experience in a Psychiatric setting preferred.
