Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Accounts Receivables Manager, the Billing Specialist will complete and coordinate billing. The Billing Specialist will serve as the Sentry Net customer branch contact regarding customer billings and receivable balances.

The Billing Specialist will communicate with clients on billing issues, audits and resolves billing discrepancies. The BS will maintain records, follow-up information and respond to account inquires timely and consistent with policies and procedures.

The BS will provide clerical support to the Account Department and performs duties in accordance with Sentry Net/Stanley Security Core Values. Additional duties assigned by Branch AR Manager.

Job Duties:

Complete billing & support including, but not limited to:

* Assist in the maintenance of the AR aging, invoice register and project billing logs.
* Organize project documentation such as contracts, purchase orders and billing instructions.
* Organize and compile invoices from Dealers and Customers.
* Complete in the weekly, biweekly and monthly invoicing. Generate invoice back up documentation, confirm accuracy and modify any errors.
* Ability to track invoicing to ensure complete billing with no duplication in a very manual process.
* Reinforces with new customers by explaining billing procedures and reviews contract terms.
* Processes special billing forms for submission to governmental departments/agencies or on private work and calculates billable amounts.
* Prepares and maintains SN Branch invoices and sends invoices to customers.
* Resolves customer complaints/problems by consulting with appropriate SN/Stanley authority assuring customer satisfaction with our response.
* Explains policies/procedures and refers complex problems/complaints to appropriate authority.
* May visit customers to resolve billing problems.
* Maintains and updates branch customer lists to ensure accuracy.
* May be required to perform other related office duties.

* Reporting: Customer Cross-Reference, Customer Statements, Connect/Disconnect, Reference Listing, Customer Review and Comment, Dealer Billing Report, Dealer Rate, Accounting Setup, Outstanding Interest Invoice, Cancellation Tracking, Cancellation Reasons, Cancellation Save Attempts

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 1+ year call center customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
* Strong knowledge of MS Office; e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Security Monitoring experience
