Job Description
Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand. Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature. Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling, and stamping to fabricate, form or shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assemblies from raw materials. Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing. Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations. Responsibilities are within Manufacturing/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.

Responsibilities:
Interpret and use production schedules, data cards and MOTs
Load and unload rolls of plain and printed material
Inspect incoming material for visual and measurable attributes
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning as required
Thread materials through printing press
Perform quality checks on press materials and troubleshoot inconsistencies
Continually monitor quality while printing press is in operation
Assure materials and equipment are available in advance
Daily interaction with computer software including data collection
Communicate with Production Control regarding production schedule, move-ups, and throughput as needed
Load and unload cylinder sleeves and anilox rolls
Clean printing parts i.e., cavities, ink kits, etc
Change ink cavities
Process rolls of rejected material
Operate specialized equipment necessary for proper function of the printing press
Self-Manage and work harmoniously in team environment
Perform other duties as requested or needed to support the team environment
Perform Product and Facility Sanitation duties as required
Serve on a Team Resource Committee as required
Qualifications
Associate Applied Science Degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of computers and basic keyboarding skills
2 years working experience
Proven ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Flexographic printing press experience helpful but not required
