The Chief Operating Officer, Industries is an accomplished leader with a proven track record for overseeing multi-dimensional programs and initiatives across organizational boundaries as prioritized by the GM, Industries. This individual is a seasoned operator, communicator, and liaison tasked with owning the business plan and priorities for the Industries organization.
Strategy
* Own V2MOM & business plan development based upon fiscal year priorities and ensure V2MOM is maintained; monitor and communicate progress against methods and associated metrics leading monthly reviews
* Oversee Headcount/Staffing and Budget allocations to ensure we can meet our growth objectives
* Develop and define organizational structure & operating model to leverage the scale of Salesforce while sustaining a culture of ongoing experimentation
Operational Execution
* Develop and iterate on measurement/experimentation framework
* Drive international expansion efforts for Industries. Ensure alignment and adoption of tests, business processes, and best practices
* Support preparatory efforts for quarterly V2MOM review, Method 6 review meetings as needed
* Develop and cultivate relationships with business partners and other organizational leaders in Sales, Sales Dev, Marketing, IT, Product, engineering, CSG for collective accountability
* Drive IT/operations prioritization to accelerate autonomous selling
* Own the weekly staff meeting agendas in conjunction with GM, Industries; facilitate meetings and ensure all follow-up items are accounted for
Performance and Analytics
* Build analytic function within Industries
* Facilitate weekly performance reviews to monitor funnel performance
Data Science
* Drive marketing data science prioritization to accelerate touchless selling
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA strongly preferred
- High intellectual and emotional IQ, high-energy, visionary leader with proven entrepreneurial track record of defining and delivering new initiatives
- Consistent track record of building, developing and managing high performing teams
- Consistent track record of relentless operational execution
- History of building strong internal relationships in a highly matrixed, global organization
- Demonstrated success in consistently delivering revenue numbers
- Data driven and analytical skills and decision making
- Ability to evaluate and develop existing teams and reshape as necessary, while mentoring and inspiring teams around the world
- Strong understanding of SaaS business model
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Extensive experience presenting to and negotiating with senior level management
