Manager/Sr. Manager of Market Strategy - Analyst Relations for Salesforce Platform
Salesforce is looking for an experienced and passionate analyst relations expert to for the Salesforce Platform product line. This position will assist with the existing analyst relations program, helping the company to:
* Cultivate strategic relationships with our growing community of global analysts, market luminaries, and influencers
* Broaden visibility of the company and core products amongst the analyst community
* Provide Product Management with strategic consultation on products and services
* Collaborate with Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing to deliver content and programs to drive lead generation
The position requires a commitment to innovation in the technology industry, understanding of the enterprise software and cloud computing spaces, and established relationships with industry analysts. Clear, concise, and consistent communication skills are a must. Additionally, open communication and collaboration with other members of the Market Strategy team is an essential requirement for the role. The ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a sense of humor is also required.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with key partners across the company to build and strengthen relationships with the analyst community
* Oversee planning and execution of analyst meetings, tours, analyst days, Salesforce events, and briefings; track and report on analyst engagement activities
* Serve as a trusted partner internally and provide first level feedback to spokespeople and senior executives, share thoughtful notes with stakeholders, own follow-up items, suggest next steps, and drive strategy discussions
* Coordinate Salesforce response to analyst requests for information by collaborating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product management and executives; facilitate the timely completion of analyst survey requests.
* Demonstrate excellent judgment for company's best interest, strong situational analysis, and the ability to negotiate and manage select analyst contracts and retainers.
* Be a great team player - willing to jump in and help others, take on new responsibilities and projects
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed when travel resumes: up to 20-40% of the time across North America.
Required Skills:
* BA/BS degree from 4 year college/university
* Experience in the execution of core strategic analyst programs
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in analyst relations in the technology industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills
* Proven ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resources
* Ability to multi-task and quickly prioritize projects and communicate priorities to stakeholders
* High level of energy, enthusiastic team player, and dedication to excellence

* A positive, flexible attitude and a sense of humor are essential
