News Corp is embarking on a journey of transformation. We are looking for a Program Lead. who will have a deep understanding of Programs and Business Architecture. The role will outline the overall business case and help shape the initiatives around people, processes, vendors, products, systems and analytics which will be delivered as part of a multi year transformation roadmap. Owning business benefits and ensuring they are delivered and looking for ways to improve and optimize the way the teams globally work. This leader will work with the technology teams to deliver large scale and complex HR products, such as Workday, Service Now or Greenhouse.

The ideal candidate will be a process and performance thought leader who possesses cutting edge thinking, outstanding strategic and analytical skills, and the ability to mobilize, govern and execute.

There are two parts to this role:

News Corp is currently involved in a Global workday implementation. This role would be responsible for oversight and management of the program and its delivery across our business units.

As we continue to imagine HRs operating model, design our future state organization and the roadmap to get there, this role will require someone to manage the HR portfolio of programs and their delivery. This will require a strong working partnership with Technology who will work hand and hand with one another to determine best in class Technology to deliver for the HR businesses needs and create the future technology road map.

Responsibilities:

* Experience in process improvement, leading complex projects/program and business design
* Manage and facilitate the overall program management process, from request and inception, to design and discover, to implementation and value realization.

* You will facilitate the execution of the HR strategy including translating strategy into operational goals and objectives, integration into daily operations, implementation, accountability and measurement.

* Demonstrated success in setting project goals, collaborating with other departments, monitoring project progress, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to set protocols.

* Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.Strategic thought leader who has experience partnering with Sr. Leaders

* Ability to organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization

* Experience creating and managing short-term and long-term goals

* Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance

* Manage a team with a diverse array of business talents and responsibilities

* Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved

* Previous experience with developing a budget and operating plan for the program

* Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status through its life cycle and analyzing program risks

* Analyze key outstanding issues, providing recommendations to Senior management on how to resolve

* Role requires mentoring and leading cross-functional teams to complete projects within budgetary and time constraints

* Role will require coordinating with enterprise-wide ERP deployments to ensure consistency, standardization, and leading practice in design and implementation of business processes

Requirements:

* 10+ years of in-depth business knowledge and business architecture experience
* 10+ years of project management skills

* Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management, PMLC and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)

* Functionally and technically proficient in Workday, iCIMS, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft and/ or ADP

* Successful track record working in a matrix global organization from a business standpoint

* Hands on skills with a proven record of designing enterprise class ERP tools and portfolios.

* Leadership and executive presence with excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills. Demonstrates strong leadership, consulting, and negotiation skills

* Advanced communication skills level for composing and writing original business requirements, recommendations, reports, and internal presentations to management

* Must have outstanding interpersonal, analytical and communication skills with capability to develop and sustain strong working relations at all levels within an organization

* Documented experience in negotiating and resolving complex issues and risks

* Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Must possess exceptional computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in using MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, which are all necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports

* Prior experience working on projects using an iterative methodology to deliver is a plus

* Must have exceptional attention to detail, have an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, have creative and innovative problem-solving skills, be self-motivated and proactive, and demonstrate calmness during times of uncertainty and stress. Must possess the natural ability to get along with all types of people at all levels within the organization.

* Comfortable with adapting style to flex between detailed vs high-level analysis to drive optimal decisions for the business

* Must have prior P&L or Cost Center Control responsibility

* MBA is highly desirable
