The Inside Sales Representative will manage assigned ministry accounts by building relationships with client base and increase knowledgeto produce required revenue selling HCCP products.
Responsibilities
* Consulting with assigned accounts via phone and email to meet revenue goals
* Maintain discounts & gross margins required by sales channel
* Develop creative promotional ideas and custom ideas that help ministry in donor development and outreach and that will drive sales for our channel
* Provide sales projections by ISBN for assigned accounts
* Effectively manage prescribed expense budgets (T&E, gratis)
* Sales presentations of all publishing teams books where it fits ministry needs
* Maintain client records
Qualifications
Knowledge
* Familarity with Christian industry/ministries Television, radio, outreach & missional
* Knowledge in fundraising and donor development helpful
* Understanding of basic Christian theology, as well as differences in denomination/theological factions
* Sales experience both in cold calling and servicing existing accounts
Work Experience:
* 3-5 years experience selling and serving account base
* Project management and development experience
* Understanding the sales process and have superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage
Education:
* BA, BS or equivalent work experience
Skills:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficient in negotiating
* Excellent follow-through and commitment to excellence in serving customers
* Ability to plan; set and accomplish goals and objectives
* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport
