Job Summary

As a Sr. Sales Analyst you will provide an integral link between the finance organization, sales and other corporate support functions such as marketing and legal. You will help to ensure all information and processes are in place for the successful achievement of business and sales GTM plans. This Sr. Sales Analyst function is responsible for developing strategies, and evaluating and implementing improvements to sales programs and processes. As a part of the function you will provide information to the field organizations to support client related issues; and internal support to the sales organization by means of reporting and analysis.

Essential Functions:
- Provide information and analysis essential for planning and strategy development.
- Build complex Excel models and/or Tableau dashboards to be leveraged by other Analysts and finance team members throughout the organization.
- Maintain segmentation lists to document account ownership throughout the Area Sales Organization.
- Provide reporting and analytics support to our Channel team as well as our Americas Operations organization as a subject matter expert.
- Must leverage a proven track record of finding efficiencies and instituting process improvements in every day operational functions.
- Responsible for monthly communication to field sales and management regarding a wide range of issues related to field operations.
- Communicate key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc, to groups within the sales, finance and sales operations.
- Will be a key contributor during weekly forecasting process as well during our Annual Operating Plan.
- Must a have working knowledge of CRM systems as it pertains to reporting.
- Assist in resolving disputes related to crediting splits and/or account ownership.
- Must exhibit strong leadership capabilities as the assumed owner of the Sales Area data and analytics.

Job Requirements

- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong documentation, data management, and analytical skills.
- Strong Microsoft office skills (expert level Microsoft Excel)
- Must have the ability to develop, own and drive processes, complete complex analyses, successfully partner with other professionals, and have strong project management skills.
- Ability to incorporate creative approaches to problem solving.
- Ability to effectively analyze data and communicate in a clear and concise manner.

- The types of tasks this individual is responsible for are primarily focused on supporting and converting data to information.
- Recommends and supports on-going business decisions and processes as well.

Interaction
- This individual interacts equally within their department as well as with Staff to Vice President level employees within Sales, and may interact with employees in other functions as required.
- As an independent professional, management provides direction primarily on new projects or assignments, as well as review of activities and priorities.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects, with an ability to successfully demonstrate favorable results.

Education

- Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.

- A proficient level of expertise in the technical aspects in one or more areas of responsibility is required.
