Function: Supply Management / Logistics
Title: Warehouse Coordinator - 70144

Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Coordinator for John Deere Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Milan, Illinois, you will coordinate movement of material and or orders from all zones in the warehouse to ensure put away and/or on-time delivery to our customers. In addition you will:

* Coordinate receipts, monitor put way process, plan, schedule, and expedite orders from all zones in the warehouse.
* Investigate, report, and help resolve warehouse operational discrepancies.
* Provide assistance and work direction to production employees relative to outbound and inbound processes.
* Establish a positive employee environment that fosters positive communication and feedback.

What Skills You Need

* 1+ years of material flow and inventory management experience
* 1+ years of excellent oral and written communication skills
* 1+ years of people management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas

What Makes You Stand Out

* Knowledge of parts distribution systems (WCS & DNS) and parts terminology.
* Experience in specific areas of part put away, logistics, scheduling, and inventory management
* Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques (e.g. charts, pivot tables, and production plans).

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related work experience
