Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Marketing and Creative writer Intern that will play a key role in establishing and streamlining our marketing plan! You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and develop content for our digital and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This role will be instrumental in increasing our online presence, attracting candidates to our company, and establishing our brand in the government contractor world.
Major initiatives will include developing social media campaigns for our talent acquisition team, creating sharables, as well as revamping our current job openings. Being innovative and having the ability to bring ideas to life and execute them, as well as solid writing experience, is crucial.
QUALIFICATIONS
College students with a Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related major, and an interest in Government Contracting are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities will include assisting our team with:
Creating innovate and engaging content for social media platforms
Database creation and maintenance of sharables
Short and long form writing - revamping our requisitions
Special events and marketing campaigns, such as Virtual Career Fairs
Research and establish our heat maps for targeting the correct candidates and then executing a Communications plan.
Analytics:
Track key social media analytics on a monthly basis, including Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Work with Manager to build monthly reporting tools on social media analytics and performance for our hiring needs.
Requirements:
Ability to use company brand guide
Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy.
Extremely organized with the ability to pay excellent attention to detail - the intern will be expected to handle multiple projects at once
Must be currently enrolled in an accreted college or university
Minimum GPA requirement- 3.2
Ability to work M-F, 20 hours a week
Desired Qualifications:
Go getter, someone who is passionate about marketing and creating campaigns from the ground up
Self-managed - the intern will work with the team and will always have a mentor; however, the intern will be expected to work with little management supervision.
