Primary Purpose
* Primarily convert corporate new tire designs to meet plant production equipment & specifications. Support plant by interfacing with plant manufacturing, engineering & other internal & external organizations.
* Ensure product & quality systems integrity. Ensure plant & corporate design manual requirements are being followed.
* Implement new products & processes & resolve product performance issues.
* Drive & improve customer satisfaction of products & services through contact with customer.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform activities that involve issuing reports, conducting product quality audits, issuing & dispositioning product holds, maintaining & interpreting product, process & material specifications related to maintaining & improving the product quality within the manufacturing process.
* Carry out activities that involve facilitating development builds & trials, issuing product, process or material specifications & analyzing.
Required Education & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in technical field.
* SAP experience preferred.
* Experience in the use of MS Office package (especially Excel & Word).
* Knowledge of tire specifications, tire construction, manufacturing equipment & manufacturing process.
* Must be analytical & able to organize data & communicate to all levels of the organization & all levels of expertise.
* Ability to influence floor & staff associates in all activities desired.
* Solid understanding of product & waste & experience in understanding product integrity.
