DuPont Electronic Poro Conversions has an opportunity for an experienced Slurry QC Lab Technologist at our Newark-Bellevue, Delaware site.

The Poro QC Lab technologist will be responsible for performing testing of raw material, intermediates, and final product in a lab environment. The QC Lab technologist reports to the Poro Bulk Area Manager

Your Key Responsibilities

* Perform QC testing including sample preparation, testing, data analysis, and documentation.
* Perform skilled operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
* Participate in test method development and continuous improvement work
* Complete safety observations as required, write safe work permits, participate in safety improvements
* Present findings of testing and projects both orally and written

Job Qualification

Your qualifications profile:

* High School Diploma or GED required
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is strongly preferred. Relevant job experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
* 2 - 5 years of QC experience. Previous experience in a lab environment preferred.
* Previous experience with gas chromatography, gel permeation chromatograpy, titrations is a plus.
* Previous experience performing gage R&R studies, Measurement System Analyses a plus.
* Previous experience with setting up and qualifying new instrumentation is a plus.
* Previous experience with statistical process analysis strongly preferred. Basic understanding of statistics required.
* Previous knowledge of chemical safety protocols and PPE required.
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to prioritize and complete routine testing in a timely, reproducible manner independently and within teams
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Excellent communication, analysis, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail to prevent and minimize errors.

Physical Requirements

* Requires the ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time
* Lift and/or move a minimum of 30 pounds
* Grasp and hold small objects
* Wear personal protective equipment for extended periods

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
