Job Description
The Director, Innovation Design requires a self-motivated and energetic leader who plays a critical role in the user experience design of innovative solutions while also being responsible for the ongoing development of a world-class human-centered design discipline at MD Anderson. This position will lead a multi-disciplined team that turns human insights into tangible products, services, and consumer experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's in Human Centered Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Communication/Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors
* Ten years professional experience to include five years of recent experience in management
* Seven years of innovation experience or product management
* Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
* Experience in creating and leading a human centered design or innovation team
* Extensive knowledge of how innovation impacts clinical, research and administrative areas with an aptitude toward developing a consistent vision and strategy that allows the institution to realize return on investment from innovative opportunities
