Job Description

* Design and architect end-to-end solutions
* Create De-normalized data modeling in DataStage to provide better analytical capabilities with star schema model.
* Develop DataStage information models such as Stored Procedure and Calculation Views with graphical and SQL Scripting, SDA (Smart Data Access)
* Troubleshoot long running queries and implement solution to improve performance * DataStage Performance tuning skills are required.
* Applying IBM Server Patches.
* Create SDI workflows to transform data from source to target.
* Jobs migration between different environments. (DEV/QA/STAGE/PROD).
* Work with business analyst, business users and cross team members to gather requirements
* Work with Hadoop, DB2 & Oracle adapters to load data into DataStage.
* Translate Functional Specifications into Technical Specifications.
* Work with large data volumes including structured and unstructured data. Provide 24X7 on-call production support and troubleshooting issues.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. Degree in Computer Science w/5-7 years of experience.
