Job Description

Essential Functions:

Hanging of art work, coat hooks and white boards as requested by tenants.

Set up desk hardware as per tenants requests.

Set ups and breakdowns of various cafeteria and/or conference rooms tables and chairs, for meetings, parties, and other functions, as requested by the different departments.

Pick up and move engineering deliveries to final destination.

Move video-conferencing units for meetings throughout the building, as requested by Audio/Video Services department.

Office re-arranging or moving of office furniture throughout the building.

Deliver moving boxes; breakdown and set-up of boxes.

Work closely with contractors. Assist in providing access to machinery rooms, electric closets and other restricted areas, as assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or other supervisor.

Maintains good tenant relations through prompt and courteous response to tenant requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL.

Performs general maintenance within the building.

Other Functions:

Whenever scheduling permits, assist the engineers in painting of mechanical spaces or other mechanical work.

Learn all central plant machinery and equipment, and building operation functions (HVAC, plumbing and electrical).

Maintain ethical, professional and courteous relations with contractors.

Act as a team member with all employees of the management staff.

Complies with all written JLL and regional company policies.

Requirements

Essential Physical Abilities:

Detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.

Walk up and down stairs for emergency procedures practice or implementation.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of general building systems and equipment.

Education:

High School Diploma and/or Vocational School Certificate
