Job Description

The Sr. Business Analyst - Aftermarket leads the requirements development for applying technology to satisfy business needs. Acts as the liaison among internal stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate, and validate business and system requirements. This position can be located in either Novi, MI or Maumee, OH.

Responsibilities:

* Effective communications and hand-off of information with peers and business
* Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner
* Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs
* Lead key initiatives. Manage small and medium projects.
* Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers
* Documentation of current processes, data, and physical environment
* Evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes, data, and the physical environment
* Definition of requirements based on above analysis
* Develops the functional specification of the new processes, logical data model, and physical environment
* Recommendation to build, buy, or outsource
* Develops the functional integration test specification, conducts integration test, and conducts customer acceptance test
* Identifies, develops, and delivers training needed for implementation
* Provides second tier support

Requirements:

Education

Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline required or may consider equivalent 8+ years related professional experience

Masters Degree a plus

Experience

3 - 7 years related professional experience

Language Skills

* English (fluency in reading, writing, and speaking)
