Role Overview
This position is located in Wilsonville, OR, a site of over 600 employees. This role will report to the Director, HR Business Partner, B&RA; and Comm Av and will serve to primarily support leaders by understanding and articulating business needs and translating them into HR strategies and tactics as a key member of the leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities:
* The position will play a major role in managing the implementation of major HR initiatives and annual processes across Avionics in Wilsonville, including salary planning, organizational restructuring, talent management and succession planning.
* The individual will partner closely with leadership to consult/advise on HR matters and to orchestrate HR services as needed within the business environment.
* Manages the succession planning, diversity initiatives and work force planning efforts for the site.
* Manages the effective implementation analysis of salary planning, talent management programs, diversity initiatives for the organization.
* Provides facilitation and change management consultation to senior leadership teams within the business unit.
* Coordinates the restructuring efforts of the organization and will be required to consult on organization design, job level and title changes with appropriate SME's in HR.
* Supports SFP/AOP with data and analysis for the Sr. Business Partner and the Enterprise Work Force planning efforts.
* Daily work may be an even blend of tactical vs. strategic work in support of the business
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelors degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
* Proven experience in a leadership role with HR duties performed.
* Previous employee and leadership coaching experience is required
* Experience leading positive employee relations for a manufacturing facility
* Ability to work independently and build powerful networks
* Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters degree
* Experience working outside of a headquarters location within a leadership role.
* Knowledge with Collins processes and procedures
