This role will be responsible for leading all efforts directed at the patient and lead a broad matrix team to ensure this channel is ready for launch. This role will also have 2 direct reports at the Director level and this individual will also sit on the deucravacitinib launch leadership team.

Responsibilities- include but are not limited to the following:

* Brand Strategy and pull- through for Patient Channel

* Develop and align on the right Patient channel launch objectives and strategies

* Provide relevant input to US Label with specific leadership on the Patient Medication Guide

* Develop a clear and actionable OPDP strategy

* Champion and lead launch plan and brand plan process to ensure budget prioritization across the channel

* Incorporate and identify key areas to drive innovation and differentiation within such as highly competitive category

* Collaboration & Leadership across the broad matrix organization

* Work cohesively with Digital Hub and Media Hub to ensure accurate strategic pull-through of brand strategy and creative alignment across critical mass marketing vehicles

* Lead plans across Marketing Research and Business Analytics Teams that drive timely analyses and competitive learnings to apply to strategy and budget decisions

* Work closely with the deucravacitinib HCP, Payer and Regional Marketing Teams to drive seamless pull- through from and to the patient channel

* Drive advocacy and public relations efforts across the patient channel and serve as liaison to HCP efforts

* Proactively provide input to HEOR programs and studies to improve overall quality of results and pull-through efforts across the patient channel

* People management & Broader Channel Leadership

* Lead the development and retention of a world-class patient marketing organization

* Drive cohesiveness and management of multiple agencies to support the patient channel

* Collaborate and share learning across other patient activities with the 2-3 different BMS immunology brands

* Conduct and ensure all aspects of business in compliance with BMSs values, policies, SOPs, and the laws, regulations and codes that apply to our business.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

* BA degree or equivalent is required; MBA is preferred.

* 5-10 years of relevant marketing brand management experience ( some experience in immunology/dermatology is preferred)

* Experience in executing and managing mass marketing vehicles with significant media

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Demonstrated experience in managing a team of mid-level marketing talent

* Demonstrated experience in managing external resources, including Advertising agencies.

* Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research with demonstrated ability to derive key market insights.

* Experience in leading multi-functional teams to accomplish specific objectives and goals

* Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentations to the needs of the audience

* Strong organizational skills
