Senior Supplier Engineer
About the Role:

The Sr. Supplier Engineer will provide support for all Supplier Engineering related activities as a fully qualified engineer conversant in all subject areas relevant to supplier and supplied material qualifications. Engineering specialty involves the improvement of existing manufacturing processes interfacing with the supplier and internal engineering groups in resolving problems.
Your Responsibilities Include:

* Executes plans to support supply chain objectives; supplier performance, supplied material risk mitigation and execution of materials VIP. Proficient in the use of all business tools.
* Leads and/or participates in project teams coordinating the efforts of engineers and cross functional team members to qualify and improve supplier processes. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work for part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
* Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such a conflicting design requirement, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirement.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science Degree required with an engineering focus or equivalent industry experience.
* Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
* Excellent communication skills are required.
* Minimum 5 years direct medical device experience

Preferred Qualifications:
* Preferred experience with at least two of the following commodities:
* Flex Circuits/PCBA
* Polymers/Molding
* Machined Components
* Cable Assemblies
* Optics/Mirrors/Laser Assemblies

* Experience writing and executing component qualifications preferred
* Test method validation and Gage R&R experience a plus
* Audit facing skills a plus
