Strategy and Operations Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Lead a team in the development, management, and execution of the program strategy, incorporating communications, marketing, change management, stakeholder engagement, and performance management in the execution of strategic objectives. Act as a direct advisor to the most senior clients, including C-suite, Cabinet, SES, Commissioner, or Minister level on the highest-level decisions, setting strategic direction for large-scale CEO mandated programs. Maintain a strong understanding of products and services, innovate new ways to serve DoD clients, and align communications and marketing strategies on program strengths and benefits to enable customer growth. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts in the development, management, and execution of the program strategy and develop and implement creative approaches, methodologies, and tools to meet the client needs. Lead the development, validation, and execution of go-to-market strategies for target markets across the DoD, understanding the alignment of new opportunities to the business strategy. Develop objectives and key results and provide ongoing reporting for selected markets, including tracking the impact of initiatives implemented. Partner with technical project managers on project management, setting milestones, and achieving alignment to enhance expansion opportunities, making strategic decisions to prioritize growth strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

* 15+ years of experience with organizational strategy, business transformation, strategic planning, and product management
* 10+ years of experience with management consulting
* 8+ years of experience with managing teams of 4 or more personnel
* Experience in developing skills-based training programs
* Ability to build, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reports to senior leaders
* Ability to manage people and work effectively in a fast-paced environment prone to change
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in IT with DoD clients
* Experience in a Chief of Staff or similar role influencing senior executives
* Experience in financial management
* Experience with marketing and change management
* Ability to solve complex problems creatively
* Possession of analytical and critical thinking skills
* MA or MS degree
