Software Developer, Junior

Were looking for a developer with the skills needed to build front-end and back-end software from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, and identify needed system improvements. Using agile approaches to develop Python-based code, youll work with the development team to build 21st century interfaces to assist law enforcement. Youll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You focus on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for Federal government Agencies/Department. Technical team members perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies. You apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective counter-measures. You utilize technical expertise to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices through cybersecurity.

You Have:

* 1+ years of experience with development in languages, including Python, C, or Java
* Experience with UI/UX development technologies, including JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular or Vue
* Experience with supporting software development projects involving multiple developers, including working with language family IDEs and generating code documentation
* Experience with database query languages and database design
* Experience in using issue tracking software, including JIRA, as part of a team
* Knowledge of Git or equivalent version control systems
* Secret clearance
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with iOS and Android mobile development languages, including Java, Objective-C, or Swift
* Experience with Python packages and modules that follow Python and industry-standard design patterns
* Experience with different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions
* Experience with DevOps methodologies as part of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery workflow
* Possession of excellent analytical and technical writing skills
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Active Top Secret clearance
