Engineering Technician, Mid
Key Role:
Apply technical expertise and industry knowledge in the testing, evaluation, and operation of DoD weapon systems. Serve as range assistant in the preparation and operation of test events. Assist with the risk assessment and development of safety assessment reports and standard operating procedures for test events. Perform assembly and disassembly of remote weapons and vehicles and operator level maintenance. This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of time.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with range and test operations
-Experience with operation, assembly, and disassembly of remote weapon systems
-Knowledge of range safety procedures, and protocols
-Ability to travel up to 50%
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the operation of DoD weapon systems and equipment
-Ability to work in a complex team environment
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
