VITAL Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support a government health agency implement an Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a VA Innovative Technology Advancement Lab (VITAL) Analyst. Support the VITAL Officer with VITAL activities. Provide project management, schedule management, risk identification, reporting, deliverable, and work product review oversight. Work with data request tracking and research, current state workflow documentation, as well as VITAL and SharePoint site content management support. This position is located in Washington, D.C.

Basic Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience in a professional environment
* Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies
* Experience managing IT related projects
* Experience in tracking costs and schedule and performance progress
* Ability to identify and mitigate risks
* BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Health Administration, Public Health, or Business or 18 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience in the VA
* Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, data gathering, and organization skills
