DESCRIPTION
The Vertebrae Engineering team is part of the worldwide Consumer Insights, Planning, Analytics and Technology organization. Our team owns the development and management of BI solutions for the entire Consumer Finance organization. Our team consists of Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Software Development and Finance resources. We help drive the Consumer business and enable well-informed decision making through the development of software and BI solutions, self-service tools and unique insights. We are seeking a Product Manager, Tech to help invent and deliver scalable, efficient solutions that delight our customers.
In this team, you will:
· Work backwards from the customer to define scope and develop roadmaps for significant BI projects
· Translate business requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable BI solutions.
· Develop strong working relationships with our customers and ensure we make the right technical choices to best meet their needs
· Create processes to help products and engineering teams meet goals
· Communicate and present project plans, updates and findings to leadership and customers
· Draft technical docs/PRFAQs
Our team is focused on building next-generation BI and reporting solutions and integrating these and other tools into a unified offering that equips our customers with all the tools they need to drive fast and effective decision-making, and unlock work efficiencies. The person in this role will be responsible for defining and delivering projects to meet this goal.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in either a technology or business discipline
· 3+ years in product management and/or project management is required
· Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, experience evaluating tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels of an organization and with customers and influence stakeholders without authority
· Demonstrated experience in driving process and tool improvements
· E-Commerce industry or related industry experience
· Experience prioritizing and meeting deadlines
· Ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
