Amazon Alexa Voice Services team is looking for experienced SDET, you can be part of the team that makes Alexa smarter by making Alexa Integration easier.
The Role:
Software Development Engineers in Test develop test scripts, develop test frameworks, test code at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. Our Software Development Engineers in Test use white box, gray box and black box test techniques; they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests and/or user-level test automation tools. Software Development Engineers in Test understand features and technical implementation and also work with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test automation and frameworks and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for test automation framework development, test automation and execution of test cases for specific feature areas.
Work with a team of quality engineering professions to ensure the highest quality product delivery.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years' experience in software development
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
· Experience developing test automation frameworks
· Experience with test methodologies, tools and test process
· Experience automating test scripts utilizing Java, Python, C/C++ and shell scripting
· Experience with testing multi-platform applications
· Experience with tools like Jenkins, JIRA and test repositories
· Experience with developing test plans, understand technical specifications and analyze log files
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience building automation test frameworks for embedded devices and consumer facing applications on embedded communications platforms
