Amazon Advertising seeks the worlds brightest and best product leaders to drive next-generation solutions that enable advertisers to reach customers across our owned and operated sites, on other high-quality publisher sites across the web, and on millions of desktops, mobile, and connected TV devices. Amazon DSP (ADSP) is Amazon’s programmatic advertising product for campaign spanning Display, Video, and Audio across Amazon properties (e.g., Amazon.com, IMDb TV, Twitch, Fire TV, and Amazon Music) and tens of thousands of third-party (3P) websites and apps.
We seek candidates who want to join a team focused on building large-scale systems that integrate across multiple sources to provide unique advertising products. These products give advertisers the controls and data necessary to improve the relevancy and performance of their ads. In this role, you will drive the technical design and roadmap for the Automotive portion of advertising business focused on the advertising experience and attribution.
The leader in this role will have responsibility through the full technical life cycle, from strategy and prioritization through delivery and go-to-market.
We are looking for a leader who:
· Can get “into the weeds” and position the product correctly and effectively across internal and external teams
· Can own and improve the product features and integration documentation for Automotive customers
· Can use customer feedback, market trends, business initiatives, and data to define the roadmap priorities and timelines
· Can evangelize your product vision to senior management and diverse stakeholders through deep ad systems knowledge, customer research, and industry expertise
· Can develop mechanisms that programmatically identify, target and deliver recommendations to customers via a variety of channels
· Can develop a shared understanding of the architecture and the technology of Amazon’s ad products and collaborate with cross-organizational engineering teams to deliver success
· Can think and act global
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 1+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· A demonstrated track record of leading a medium to large-scale ‘program’ from conception through completion, demonstrating multi-functional skills to make it successful
· Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data
· Ability to establish and manage projects and initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals
· Ability to lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal Handle multiple contending priorities in an energizing environment
· Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people
· Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through
· Able to work in a diverse team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of experience in online advertising and ad technologies
· Understanding of concepts and technology related to Advertising DSPs
· Master's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field
· Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services
· Familiarity with technical aspects of digital / display advertising
· Passionate about generating big, creative ideas to differentiate in the market, growing the business and working with advertisers and agencies to build innovative products
· Although an IC role, experience leading and managing teams a plus due to anticipated growth.
