DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a ML-minded software development engineer to join an initiative with strategic significance and high visibility. In this initiative you will build, from the ground up, a ML-powered short-form video feed on OTT devices. You will embrace the innovation to launch an OTT app of short-form videos that allows users to serendipitously discover engaging content and satisfy their personalized needs to interact (rent/subscribe/share, etc.) This will establish the basis for brand content experiences on OTT, and eventually provide high quality traffic for brand advertisers.

You will tackle some of the most intriguing problems in building highly scalable services for video streaming. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent communications, and ability to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems, frontend and backend services that can scale to millions of requests and deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience implementing and consuming large scale web service
Experience or background in streaming video delivery is a plus
Experience with Machine Learning is a plus
