Senior Program Manager, Prime Video International Expansion, Country Launch Management – Seattle

Prime Video International Expansion, Launch and Operational Excellence team is seeking an experienced, customer obsessed and data driven Senior Program Manager in Seattle to develop innovative global digital video business opportunities for customers by launching Prime Video Channels in new countries.

We are seeking an innovative and analytical Senior Program Manager to lead the end to end, non-technical program management of transactional video international launches. It is this individual’s responsibility to define the project plan and working back timeline and deliver country launches on schedule. Further, this individual will work to identify opportunities for process improvement across non-tech teams and will drive launch coordination of the following functions: Content Acquisition, Legal, Accounting, Tax, Business Intelligence, Partner Launch Management, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Product Marketing, Design, Customer Service, Vendor Management and Public Relations. This individual will work with the project Technical Program Manager to incorporate technical timelines into the overall project plans, and will represent non-tech launch readiness status in weekly technical Critical Product Reviews (CPR).
Key activities include:
• Program manage the launch of Prime Video Channels by coordinating teams across engineering, content acquisition, operations, partner management, product, merchandising, design and customer service.
• Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives.
• Provide updates to senior leadership on key metrics, progress and launch status.
• Work with tech and non-tech team teams to identify and remove any project blockers.
• Design standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for automation to increase launch efficiency.
• Think big about future country expansions and support the ongoing planning, prioritization and strategy for new PVC country launches.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· 5+ years experience in program or project management or 3+ years of experience with an MBA
· Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
· 5+ years experience delivering cross functional projects or 3+ years of experience with an MBA
· Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
· Experience defining and executing against program requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong numerical and analytical aptitude, proven negotiating skills.
• Multiple years of experience in program management, business development, marketing or related field, preferably in the international space
• Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive short, medium and long-term goals.
• Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others.
• Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to credibly coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders, as well as have an understanding of the systems and processes that will be utilized in achieving program objectives.
• Advanced knowledge with all MS Office tools including Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain desired.
• A passion for digital media and digital video.
