We are looking for a Senior Partner Operations Manager to design, launch, and manage new business initiatives and key distribution partner programs globally. Based in LA or NYC, this role will be the foundational member of the Partner Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development & Partner Marketing. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a complex, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment with the desire to deliver on large-scale global programs. This role will work closely with IMDb TV’s distribution partners (e.g. leading smart TV OEMs, gaming consoles, streaming media players) as well as with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product, Ad Sales, Finance) to streamline operations and processes and drive growth and revenue.
Core Responsibilities
\- Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, and Product & Engineering teams to support the launch and monetization of the IMDb TV app across highly visible device distribution partners
\- Manage large-scale, global partner programs including partner onboarding, advertising and promotions, business reviews, and deal compliance, as well as new initiatives relating to international expansion
\- Manage the day-to-day operations relating to contractual partner payment & reporting obligations, new partner onboarding, and reporting of program metrics to stakeholders
\- Leverage tools to enhance app integration and discovery across partner device user interfaces
\- Own projects end-to-end, from conception to stakeholder/leadership approval to execution
\- Drive operational efficiency by continually refining operational processes and influencing Product & Engineering teams to enable automation and scale
\- Conduct tracking and communication of competitive developments
\- Identify market trends, research reports, and conduct ad-hoc business analyses
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· 5+ years experience in program or project management or 3+ years of experience with an MBA
· Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
· 5+ years experience delivering cross functional projects or 3+ years of experience with an MBA
· Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
· Experience defining and executing against program requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\- MBA degree or 5+ years of experience in a client/external facing partner and operations management role within a traditional media company, vMVPD, device OEM, or OTT SVOD/AVOD service
\- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss business and technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs, and evaluate new opportunities
\- Previous experience working with business owners to define key business questions and build data-driven analyses that answer those questions
\- Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
