DESCRIPTION

Do you want to be part of Strategic Accounts, the segment responsible for helping AWS’ most complex and mature customers achieve positive business outcomes and transformation? If so, the Strategic Accounts is growing its leadership team.

Strategic Account Representatives work in coordination with the principal to develop relationships and workloads in new and emerging business units and lines-of-business. Strategic Account Representatives also drive key horizontal initiatives such as AI/ML and database on behalf of the account team.

As a sales leader you will lead a sales team focused on adoption and expansion of our full service portfolio. You will hire and develop a high performance team focused on customer obsession and working backwards to help customers achieve their business outcomes. You will also build and lead initiatives to help scale our business.

Core Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan
* Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and service teams
* Drive revenue and market share in defined region
* Enable custom business outcomes through strategic engagements
* Engage with our customers and own stakeholder relationships
* Hire, develop and lead a team of six to eight Strategic Account Representatives
* Influence cross-functional stakeholders, including service teams, to accelerate deals and workloads
* Maintain robust sales pipeline and contribute to forecast
* Meet or exceed quarterly business goals and revenue targets
* Travel as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
* 10+ years of complex, field sales leadership experience in cloud, enterprise software or IT Services
* 7+ years of experience managing enterprise sales teams with direct quota responsibility of $100M+
* BA/BS degree or relevant experience
* Experienced in attracting, developing, and retaining the industry’s best talent
* Experienced developing and growing high-performance individuals and teams to their full potential
* Track record of consistent business and sales performance in complex, direct/field enterprise sales
* Willing to travel 25%+ to customer locations within the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
