Would you like to be part of a team focused on enabling AWS’ success with our customers? We are looking for an experienced Program Leader for Americas ProServe to drive our strategy and programs across AWS.

We are seeking a high energy professional for the position of Project Manager, Americas AWS Business Operations Team. This position will contribute to the continued success of Americas AWS Professional Services by defining and implementing large scale Professional Services operations projects. With a clear focus on streamlining Professional Services operations, project work will range from process development, workflow redesign, and creation of new workflows, improving efficiencies, and reducing operational costs. A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and passion for scaling Professional Services operations across multiple disciplines and activities. This position requires strong business judgment, problem solving and excellent communication skills. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. This position will help contribute to the team’s development and resources and may manage a small team of 3-5 Program Managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
· 8+ years’ experience managing projects for a professional services or consulting organization
· 5+ years’ experience leading complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects, including identifying partners and sub-project owners
· 3+ years’ experience with recruiting or human resources talent development
· Experience defining project scope, timeline, cost and risk, including building business cases and other analytical assessments
· Prior experience negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders, including meeting facilitation skills
· Prior people management experience
· Experience working with Agile technologies, eg. Jira, Asana, Confluence
· Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like salesforce.com
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's Degree
· Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Relational Data Analysis, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
· Written and verbal communication skills, including but not limited to presenting in front of groups
· Problem-solving and analytical skills
· Knowledge of project management methodologies
· Willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly, and get things done
· Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships
· Ability to analyze data to find trends and process gaps
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
· Strong meeting facilitation skills and negotiation skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Self-starter who can deliver high-quality results in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
· Lean Expert and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
· Ability to travel to client locations as need
