What youll do on a typical day:
* Lead/direct planning-related functions of the distribution center: plan and schedule inbound receipts and outbound shipments, replenishment activities, inventory slotting, capacity analysis, order prioritization, expedite processing
* Develop and execute operational level reporting for site level leadership team and the client
* Support Operations teams to ensure service level standards are met; adhere to all contractual obligations and ensure client compliance
* Identify growth opportunities with current customers by promoting enhanced services and/or cost savings to the customer, partner with site leadership in all customer visits, conference calls and problem-solving efforts
* Track, record and maintain planning and operations-related data; deploy planning-based metrics to ensure optimized operational efficiencies
* Support the identification and deployment of cost-saving initiatives through deployment of planning based continuous improvement initiatives within the site
* Manage all direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, setting expectations, training and development, conducting performance reviews, etc.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* 4 years of experience with complex demand planning activities
* Experience utilizing and deploying solutions within industry leading business intelligence solutions (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or equivalent)
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
* Working knowledge of statistical methods, mathematical techniques and related analytical tools, including forecasting and projections
Itd be great if you also have:
* Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or other related field
* Working knowledge/understanding of SQL or similar programing languages
* 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience
* APICS certification
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Experience in Lean manufacturing principles
* Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
* Experience in quality, inventory, data mining and problem-solving
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment

* Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
* Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
