Reporting into a team in the Supply Chain organization, the Data Analytics Sr. Manager will be working closely across the entire matrix of divisions and functions. You will be responsible for managing our data analytics center of excellence to meet the operational team's business needs by leveraging supply chain expertise, cutting edge technologies, and advanced analytical approaches. On top of this, you will directly manage the supply chain analytics team making sure we are obtaining optimal outputs while maintaining focus on employee development and personal growth.

What will you do?

Design & Development
* Lead a team of data analysts to investigate and develop solutions to supply chain challenges and deliver data-driven insights into business conditions and provide high-value opportunities to senior leaders.
* Evaluate, standardize and launch first pass analytical approaches that drive optimization in workflows and metrics to enable our organization to be more productive with their time and efforts.
* Work within a SQL database to leverage data sets available to team to design and leverage canned analytics.
* Lead business process design activities to ensure that decision support tools are used effectively in the context of core business processes

Analysis and Reporting

* Work directly with supply chain functional leads and supply chain executive group leadership to build out tier mechanisms that allow integrated supply chain management.
* Challenge current analytical constructs by benchmarking best-in-class companies and academic research to ensure our supply chain team is applying the most appropriate algorithms in a practical manner to deliver results.
* Administer the regular reporting of a supply chain data analytics program KPI dashboard, providing management with visibility to key performance metrics throughout the global supply chain organization.
* Drive continual conversion of ad hoc analytical responses to scalable standardized business analytics that allow supply chain strategists and tacticians to proactively drive effective and efficient supply chains.

Infrastructure Management

* Expectation that continuous improvement focuses around user experience and opportunity funnels
* Assess analytical solutions performance and aim to maximize ROI
* Manage supply chain optimization related projects to expand team system capabilities.
* Prepare reports for program directors

Training & Development

* As needed, coach and mentor the supply chain organization about how to most productively utilize existing reports and decision support tools
* Contribute to group wide supply chain projects by educating teammates about supply chain best practices to inform decision-making processes
* Understand, master and often teach how to effectively use reporting software tools, such as COGNOS and the suite of Microsoft Office products, particularly Access and Excel, which are critical in analyzing data.
* Develop redundancy in critical skill sets within the infrastructure team as well as in the larger organization to strengthen our business continuity.

How will you get here?

Education

* Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Material Science, Mathematics, or other hard science required

Experience

* 10+ years operations experience.
* People management history preferred
* Strong supply chain optimization experience required

* Good follow-up skills.
* Mastery of Excel (advanced coding level) required.
