Summary
Provides day-to-day human resource support. Offers advice and counsel regarding benefits programs and eligibility, company policies, HR procedures, as well as handling other human resource questions and requests. Assists in ensuring that information and advice are consistent with company policies, represent best practices, and meet legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day administration and support of human resource information, including clarification of policies and procedures and responding to human resource related issues.
* Assist with the pre-employment and new hire process, including conducting and coordinating New Hire Orientations.
* Responsible for coordinating and scheduling weekly staff meetings, agendas, calendars, and other events as needed.
* Records Management-maintain electronic and paper-based files and records to ensure compliance with records retention requirements.
* Ad Hoc Reporting- produce and review reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Initiate all absence related requests and act as liaison with corporate absence management/payroll/medical/employees on all leaves.
* Conducts research and prepares documents for review and processing.
* Administers various HR plans/programs (i.e. monthly reporting, Comp Time programs, and other Company Recognition programs etc.).
Experience and Education
* Associate degree desired in Human Resources or related field required.
* Minimum 1-year experience in an Administrative Assistant role and or supporting Human Resources or related field required.
