Staples Cyber Security team is a collaborative partner and revenue accelerator for Staples. We combine our unique expertise and knowledge of the business with innovative technology and risk-based, customer-focused solutions to protect our infrastructure and secure our assets.

Your Role

Cyber Security Engineers help plan and carry out the organizations information security strategy. They develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization and recommend security enhancements to management as needed. They develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach. Cyber Security Engineers are also responsible for educating the workforce on information security through training and building awareness.

Compensation

Anticipated compensation for this role is $79,000 to $102,000 plus bonus and/or commission (if applicable). Staples reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications and geography.

Qualifications

What Youll Do

Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect organizations sensitive information
Assist computer users with installation or processing of new security products and procedures
Conduct periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability as it relates to Data Loss Prevention
Assist with overall architecture and implementation of Data Loss Prevention products

Who You Are

Looking for a driven IT professional with experience with support and Data Loss Prevention with an emphasis on protecting PCI data.

The Skills You Bring

Bachelors degree Preferred
Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience
Direct experience with Data Loss Prevention and Best Practices
Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
