Job Description:
The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TEEC) applies a systems approach to provide total test solutions that ensure the quality of Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) products. The TEEC uses common platforms and processes to design/develop production, depot and engineering test stations. The TEEC is seeking early career Software Engineer. The selected candidate will participate on multidiscipline engineering teams contributing to the completion of all stages of test product development. The candidate will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of their assigned projects. They will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products. This position is focused on, but not limited to, the design, development, integration, test, and maintenance of software for TEEC

Opportunities include:


* Develop and verify test plans and procedures
* Utilize lab test equipment for testing and troubleshooting
* Install software packages to enhance operations and testing of production hardware to keep equipment aligned with equivalent equipment in Tucson AZ
* Perform regression testing to insure that changes being implemented do not impact previous (non-modified) code and test conditions/measurements.
* Should a failure occur during regression testing, perform root cause and corrective action analysis as required.


U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Education and Skills:

* Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree in Software Engineering; or in a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. Must be either currently pursuing degree or degree must have been granted in the last 18 months
* Experience with the development and integration of Production Test Equipment Hardware and Software
* Experience developing and implementing high order programming languages (C#, C++, or C is preferred).
* U.S. Citizenship is required


Desired Education and Skills:


* ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater
* Experience with development and integration of software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces.
* Able to perform successfully in an environment with frequent and direct interaction with customers and peers
* Good communication, interpersonal, planning and time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
* Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
* Current/Active DoD clearance or SSBI
