Inventory Associate Supervisor
This position is responsible for overseeing inventory and transacting accurately based on incoming and outgoing raw material movements. Responsibilities include accurate inventory management, including, but not limited to, purchasing, supply planning, inventory transfers, reconciliation, and physical inventory counting. This person acts as main point of contact and interfaces with the plant team, suppliers, other PepsiCo sites, PepsiCo Global Procurement, and off-site warehouses. Additionally, this person will play a key role in transformational, process improvement in other functional areas throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate can provide solutions, adapt to critical and on-going business needs, collaborate with peers and external contacts, and use effective communication to get the job done. This position plays a key role in current and future expansion of the supply chain within PepsiCos West Division.
* Ensure daily inbound and outbound of raw materials is successfully transacted
* Controls timely placement of purchase orders to suppliers and works to resolve order-related issues
* Manages supplier relationship, controlling suppliers compliance with requirements and specifications to ensure timely production of materials of appropriate quality in the required volume
* Material supply planning and control
* Performs physical counts of raw materials
* Utilizes PepsiCo software (e.g., NIS, MRP, APS) to perform job duties
* Drive solution through process improvement and cross-functional support, follows and improves supply chain related processed and procedures
* Cross-trained to act as back-up for Raw Material Coordinator
* Participate in other tasks and special projects as needed and assigned
* Receiving HFCSA, CO2, and N2 in APS
* Daily inventory of all raw materials
* Identify and respond to process improvement opportunities throughout the facility
Qualifications/Requirements
* College Degree preferred
* High School diploma or GED with years experience
* Flexibility and willingness to fulfill assigned activities, according to the needs of an ever-changing business environment
* Must possess strong attention to detail
* Demonstrated ability to leveraging system and tools
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
* Must have good interpersonal skills to interact/contribute to the team
* Must have a team/collaboration-based approach to decision making
* Must have a Can Do attitude and a willingness to assist others in completing activities as needed
* Able to embrace change, shift priorities as needed, and work through ambiguity
* Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to formulate effective action plans and deal with issues proactively
* Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, working with others in a professional manner
* Must be highly organized and able to manage several tasks simultaneously
* Able to work an extended schedule with on-call responsibilities
* Available every 4th Sunday at Period End for inventory counting and period close
