As part of the Strategy and Culture subgroup, the Data Strategy Senior Manager is responsible for advancing PepsiCos unified data strategy across the enterprise by planning and executing prioritized data initiatives and driving adoption.

This is an intensely collaborative position, reporting to and working closely with the Director of Data Strategy to bring data strategy to life. This person will interact daily with Function and Business leaders and practitioners to understand their needs and challenges, informing strategic roadmaps and identifying roadblocks in order to keep initiatives on track.

Besides business leaders, this position will incorporate input from the Data Governance and Data Product teams to drive adoption and ensure scalability of high-impact projects with minimal risk.

The successful candidate will have experience managing data-driven business teams, and extremely strong time management and communication skills.

Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for implementing and managing projects under the umbrella of PepsiCos strategic data initiatives
* Lead roll-out of enterprise data strategy roadmaps
* Create timelines and benchmarks for data projects and product roll-outs
* Coordinate efforts with internal teams, including IT, business and function leaders, etc. to keep projects on track
* Oversee execution of projects by managing analysts, strategists, and developers
* Stay informed about the needs and challenges of leaders and practitioners regarding data, and consult with Data + Analytics senior leadership to adjust project prioritization and PepsiCos strategic data vision and roadmaps
* Encourage and drive adoption of data products by identifying impediments and working with the Culture and Education Managers to improve internal client experience
* Team management, objectives setting, employee development and mentoring and fostering good team culture

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications

* Minimum 8 years working in data-driven business functions
* Minimum 5 years experience managing data practitioners (analysts, scientist, product developers, UX, etc.)
* Bachelors Degree required
* Experience consulting strongly preferred
* Masters degree optional

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge

* Very strong project and time management skills
* Demonstrated excellence in people management
* Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, and comfort presenting to senior leaders
* Deep knowledge of data applications for CPG
* Working knowledge of common data science capabilities and techniques
