Northrop Grumman is in need of a Sr Principal Contract Administrator to work at its Plymouth, Minnesota location. The location is part of the Weapons System division of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems.

Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have one of the following:
* Bachelor rsquo;s degree with a minimum of 3 years of contracts, supply chain, finance, or business management experience
* Master rsquo;s degree or Juris Doctor with a minimum of 1 year of contracts, supply chain, finance, or business management experience
* Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in MS Office and be very detail oriented
* Must be a US citizen
* Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
* Must be able to work on-site in Plymouth, Minnesota
* Ability to travel up to 25% of time including possible international travel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Business or Law (including Paralegal) degree
* Experience in DoD and Government contracting
* Experience with Other Transaction Authorities, Non Disclosure Agreements, Strategic Agreements, Cooperative Research And Development Agreements, and Bailment Agreements
