Position Specific Description
The Manager of Residential Electric Vehicle Product Development will have a passion for developing and delivering Innovative new products and services at the intersection of energy & technology (Home Energy Management, Distributed Generation, and Data Science). The candidate will be responsible for delivering the strategy & leading new product development from idea generation & business case creation, concept/product design, market research, testing, trials & operational readiness, to successful commercialization. The candidate for this position will need to be effective in managing cross functional teams and technology partners to launch and manage new products to drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have a history of assessing and leveraging emerging technologies to drive new product development as well as experience in financial analysis and project management. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter, creative problem solver and collaborative team player with a proactive/entrepreneurial style, comfortable with wearing many hats working in a startup environment. Subject matter expertise and experience in the Electric Vehicle/charging space is required.
