As a Managed NAND (UFS, eMMC, MicroSD) Principal Architect/Design Lead at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for driving, managing and verifying the project technical requirements associated with Micron's mobile/automotive solid state storage products. You will coordinate with Business Units, ASIC, System Architecture, Product Design, Firmware Design, Product Validation, Characterization and Qualification teams to insure the product meets or exceeds all committed technical requirements.

Responsibilities and Tasks include the following, but not limited to:

* Coordinating and leading a multi-functional design and development team spread out across multiple geographical regions
* Consolidating and clarifying design requirements
* Making key architectural and design decisions and resolving technical issues
* Driving the resolution of product issues and generation of failure analysis reports
* Managing resources and schedules associated with the design and verification of technical requirements
* Preparing status reports and technical presentations
* Leading all aspects of requirements change management
* Leading the generation of documentation, and coordinating design reviews

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

* 5+ years of directly related experience
* BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, but MS preferred
* Experience in developing system level products which include ASIC, NAND and Firmware
* ASIC architecture and various IP blocks
* FW development process
* NAND Flash technology and NAND operation
* A storage interface, such as eMMC, UFS, PCIe, SATA, or SAS
* Familiarity with mobile phone products, operating systems, and applications
* Basic CMOS circuits
* A programming language such as C or C++
* Excellent problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills
* The ability to clearly communicate and document technical information
* Ability to lead teams and drive issues
* Ability to handle sophisticated schedules
