SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Industry 4.0 Application Specialist works to promote and sell PdM solutions to our customer base. The role will require the development of accounts by visiting clients to present company solutions through proposals after assessing customer needs. The role includes implementing and commissioning appropriate predictive maintenance (PdM) solutions. Interacting with customers and vendors to document ROI potential, communication/connectivity design and installation plans. Provide technical support to clients after sales and troubleshoot technical problems. The applicant will be required to have a working technical knowledge of the industrial predictive maintenance domain. This can be a Remote position located anywhere in the U.S.
JOB DUTIES
* Prepare and conduct technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives related to predicitive maintenance solutions.
* Research customer technical specifications to estimate the cost, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the product or solution.
* Lead post-sale product configuration and design custom solutions in accordance with customer specifications.
* Diagnose malfunctions of complex devices/equipment/systems and direct/oversee repair work.
* Conduct technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives.(Including but not limited to maintenance personnel, engineers, facilty and plant managers)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and 0-3 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
