Caution against fraudulent job offers!

We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.

We would like to clarify that:

* At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
* We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.

Specifically, our service offerings address the trading, operations, compliance, and risk management challenges prevalent across the commodities value chain. These services are organized into three capability areas - Strategic Services, Compliance, Risk & Operational Services, and Technology Services:

* Strategic Services help clients define fit-for-purpose operating models for their commodities, define the changes required to realize that vision, and develop a roadmap for execution
* Compliance, Risk & Operational Services assess the existing compliance, risk, and operational processes of our clients leveraging proprietary tools to yield insights for improvement or optimization
* Technology Services deliver custom and package technology solutions that help our clients manage their commodity business and associated risk & compliance exposures.

Work You'll Do

Commodity Trading & Risk Management Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Commodity Trading Senior Consultant to join our Commodity Trading & Risk Management advisory practice to drive growth, manage delivery teams, bring commodity lifecycle expertise, and implement Commodity Management solutions. The delivery of services will involve solution roadmap development, functional design, and development and implementation analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and similar packages. Further, this position will focus on business opportunities, growing the practice and strengthening the existing client relations through advisory services and solution delivery. This professional will be responsible for:

* Defining, planning, and executing end-to-end Commodity & Risk Management solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
* Lead customer workshops to identify dashboard and report requirements
* Adept at data prep, data modeling, and data visualization
* Production level experience working with Power BI
* Experienced with advanced DAX functions- e.g., able to write 'Calculate' functions.
* Ability to Configure data intake using Query and its formula language, 'M.'
* Proficient with SQL
* Strong client-facing written and oral communications skills
* Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
* Familiarity with design centered thinking methodologies

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or other related field; MBA, MS and/or MA preferred.
* 2-5+ years of relevant work experience in the oil & gas industry.
* 2+ years of relevant work experience with Commodity and Risk Management solutions and CTRM/ETRM, BRM/TRM
* Experience with Power BI, Tableau and other reporting packages
* Knowledge of MS Project or other similar tools is required. Skilled in all Microsoft tools such as Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Access.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
* Effective leadership, project management and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and deadlines.
* Ability to travel. Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
