Scope of Position:

In this role, you will mmaintain the SCALE Warehouse Management System (WMS) in accordance with documented processes and procedures. Uses the principles and theories of computer science to provide technical support to WMS configuration and maintenance. You will be responsible for order management to include all steps required to efficiently fill orders and to maintain inventory accuracy. We look for this position to be the process and Manhattan associates SCALE warehouse management system subject matter expert.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

* Complete configuration changes to maintain a WMS system in support of daily warehouse activities.
* Provide technical assistance to others for the WMS system and resolution as necessary.
* Aid in install and testing of regular upgrades to ensure the system remains updated.
* Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.
* Maintain and develop reports needed to get the appropriate data out of SCALE for decision making efficiency.
* Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies
* Participate in continuous improvement teams to aid in improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
* Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.
* Audits and tests software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures.
* Identifies actual or potential problems in test plans or WMS performance.
* Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
* Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
* Encompasses the computer science discipline which involves technological and operating principles contained in all aspects of written computer data, such as programs or routines essential to the operation of computers, including operating systems, databases, compilers, computer networks, algorithms, and Internet-related tools.

Travel Requirements:

* No travel required.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

* Work hours will be either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on a rotating day off schedule.

Required Education:

* Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Repair, or equivalent degree program.
* Will consider High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience working in WMS configuration and maintenance role.

Required Years and Area of Experience:

* Minimum 3+ years experience working in WMS configuration and maintenance role.

Required Skills:

* Experience with hardware configuration with portable scanners and label printers.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft office tools (outlook, excel, Powerpoint, project).
* Proven track record on improving processes (lean out the waste)
* Experience with LAN/WAN networks.
* Strong understanding of warehouse processes, technologies, training methods, etc.
* Able to facilitate, participate and support group decision making (PDCA).
* Experience with Manhattan WMS, SAP or PeopleSoft ERP or equivalent
* Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

* Expert knowledge of Manhattan WMS SCALE system
* WMS configuration and maintenance knowledge.
* Participate in continuous improvement teams to aid in improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
* Prefer Six Sigma Green Belt.
* Familiar with SCI reporting tools.
* Knowledge and experience with Labor Management Tools.
