The Industry Programs Sr. Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Industry Marketing Teams strategies, programs, processes and communications. In this role, the Industry Marketing Specialist will work closely with members of the entire marketing department, other BDO professionals and external service providers to support marketing strategies and campaigns. Responsibilities for this role include project management, content process support, research, meeting/event support and internal communications. Candidates for this position should possess excellent writing skills, be very organized and have a positive and collaborative attitude.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree required, major in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or Business Administration preferred
Experience
- Four (4) or more years of marketing, communications or general administrative experience required
- Experience working within a professional services environment (i.e., accounting, financial consulting, business advisory services and/or banking industries) preferred
Software
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite required
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sharepoint and AirTable experience preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven success in the management of integrated marketing programs and discrete marketing projects
- Excellent project management skills and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously and managing process and service providers to accomplish desired results
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Capable to understand and communicate BDO business, marketplace and value proposition
- Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented, matrixed environment
